Please do not provide personal data that is unnecessary for the service you are using.

  1. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

We may process personal data to:

• create, administer and secure accounts;

• provide subscriptions, demonstrations, support and requested services;

Where consent is the applicable basis for processing, you may withdraw it through the method provided at collection or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may make certain optional features unavailable.

  1. DATA PROCESSED FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

Some Better Tomorrow Tech products allow a business customer to collect or manage information relating to its own customers, employees or contacts. In those circumstances, the business customer determines why and how that data is used and is responsible for providing appropriate notices, obtaining required consent and complying with applicable law.

We may process such data on the customer’s instructions to provide and support the selected service. Requests relating to data controlled by one of our business customers may need to be directed to that customer.

  1. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for login, security, preferences and core website operation. We may also use analytics or performance technologies to understand how the website is used.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent account or website features from functioning correctly. Where required, optional cookies will be used only after an appropriate choice has been provided.

  1. HOW WE SHARE DATA

We may share relevant personal data with:

• hosting, infrastructure and white-label technology providers;

• payment gateways and billing providers;

• email, messaging, customer-support and analytics providers;

• professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and legal advisers;

• authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security; and

• a successor organisation in connection with a lawful merger, restructuring or transfer of business.

Service providers should receive only the data reasonably necessary for their function and are expected to handle it under appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration.

  1. DATA STORAGE, TRANSFERS AND SECURITY

Data may be processed using infrastructure operated by us or our service providers. Where data is processed outside India, we will take measures required by applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and service. Nevertheless, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will take appropriate steps and provide notices where required by law.

  1. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, satisfy legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary according to the type of data, the service involved and applicable legal requirements. Data may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

• information about the personal data we process;

• correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data;

• erasure of personal data that is no longer required or lawfully retained;

• withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based;

• grievance redressal; and

• nomination or other rights made available under applicable data-protection law.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may be retained where required by law or necessary for legitimate legal purposes.

  1. CHILDREN’S DATA

Our main website and business services are not intended to be purchased independently by persons under 18 years of age. Business customers using our services must comply with applicable requirements before submitting or collecting children’s personal data.
